The Litho-Density tool uses a gamma source (1.5Ci, Cs137) and two detectors of different spacing to contact the sidewall directly. Based on Photoelectric Effect and Compton Effect, corresponding energy windows are set up, recording the gamma ray of various windows, and measuring the lithology and density of formation.

The Micro-Spherical Focused sonde can provide the flushed zone resistivity and it is used in the formation liquid saturation calculation along with other resistivity tools.
